Introductory course for people with little or no previous experience.
there are only 6 students per course so everyone receives individual tutition. 
 
Times - 10 am til 4 pm 
 
A set of tools is provided for each student to use.

The Course Syllabus
 
You will learn to identify different types of leather from chrome tanned to vegetable tanned, you will gain a understanding of their qualities, and what type of leather suits each product.
 
learn to maintain hand tools.
Cut out leather using a pre made pattern.
learn to hand stitch with confidence.
Finish edges including beveling & burnishing of veg tanned leather. 
Choice of differnt colour leather.
